Limehouse Produce prioritizes environmental sustainability by sourcing from local farms to support the economy and protect farmland, minimizing fossil fuel use in transportation. Continuously striving to reduce our carbon footprint, we prioritize quality and proximity in our supply chain to foster sustainability.

Limehouse Produce has a solar PV system, or a system of solar panels that generates enough solar energy to provide 28 homes with electricity every year. This system reduces our carbon footprint by harnessing renewable energy, which lowers greenhouse gas emissions and diminishes reliance on fossil fuels. The solar energy we generate prevents 143 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually, which is equivalent to the carbon sequestered by 167 acres of U.S. forests in one year or recycling 49.7 tons of waste instead of landfilling it. This is just one of our initiatives that helps us to meet our sustainability goals.
